JOB SUMMARY
The Foundation Manager – Donor Database serves as a Raiser’s Edge resource at all BSW Foundations. This position is recognized as a knowledgeable individual in all areas of gifting at the Foundations. The MGR Foundation – Donor Database interacts with all Foundation departments and creates an atmosphere of trust and competency in the representation of donor related information. They support strategic planning for development and event planning. The MGR Foundation – Donor Database serves as the main resource to Foundation departments for donor information and related analysis and event lists. They communicate in a positive manner the requirements and controls necessary to maintain the BSW Foundations Donor Database.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervise Foundation gift personnel and ensure proper segregation of duties and facilitate training
- Oversee and plan Donor Database maintenance performed in house and by consultants
- Provide and control donor and event lists pulled from Raiser’s Edge for all Foundation departments
- Evaluate and implement software solutions to enhance efficiency of the Raiser’s Edge
- Serve as the liaison with Blackbaud to ensure that the most up to date imaging solutions are used at the Foundation
- Oversee and monitor the gift receipt and acknowledgement process to ensure documentation is adequate, timely and complete
- Support Foundation Donor Database information requests and work collaboratively with each BSW Foundation
- Support monthly close process and year-end audit needs for donor and contribution information.
- Perform other duties as required in a consensus building, competent, and professional.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
- Knowledge and use of Blackbaud Software or relational databases preferred
- Knowledge of PairSoft or other imaging software preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, emphasis on Word and Excel
- Detail oriented and good organizational skills

QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree plus 7 years of experience or HS Diploma/GED plus 9 years of experience
- EXPERIENCE - 5 years of experience
