What will I be doing?
- Developing and coordinating advertising and managing the recruitment process of new foster homes
- Conducting cold calls and information meetings
- Reviewing applications, medical examinations, and references
- Representing the company at job fairs, promotional presentations, and other events to recruit foster parents
- Conducting orientation, home study evaluations, and pre-service orientation and training
- Monitoring and maintaining allocated marketing budget
- Maintaining appropriate records in compliance with funding source requirements
- Recording and maintaining the statistics necessary to measure the effectiveness of various recruitment efforts
- Assisting the Program Directors and Program Coordinator in "client match" meetings
- Compiling and submitting application packet when all components are received and advising management on whether or not to proceed to the next step of the certification process
- Developing and maintaining professional alliances and relationships that will serve to help recruiting efforts
Am I a good fit?
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess general computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related fields and three years of related experience.
- Foster Parent recruitment and/or Licensing - 1 year
- Child Welfare Licensing Certification (CWLC) or a Child Welfare Case Manager Certification (CWCM)
- Access to reliable transportation adhering to all FL Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles laws (current vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, and driver's license)
