Foster Care Recruiter/Trainer

What will I be doing?

• Developing and coordinating advertising and managing the recruitment process of new foster homes
• Conducting cold calls and information meetings
• Reviewing applications, medical examinations, and references
• Representing the company at job fairs, promotional presentations, and other events to recruit foster parents
• Conducting orientation, home study evaluations, and pre-service orientation and training
• Monitoring and maintaining allocated marketing budget
• Maintaining appropriate records in compliance with funding source requirements
• Recording and maintaining the statistics necessary to measure the effectiveness of various recruitment efforts
• Assisting the Program Directors and Program Coordinator in "client match" meetings
• Compiling and submitting application packet when all components are received and advising management on whether or not to proceed to the next step of the certification process
• Developing and maintaining professional alliances and relationships that will serve to help recruiting efforts

Am I a good fit?

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess general computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related fields and three years of related experience.
• Foster Parent recruitment and/or Licensing - 1 year
• Child Welfare Licensing Certification (CWLC) or a Child Welfare Case Manager Certification (CWCM)
• Access to reliable transportation adhering to all FL Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles laws (current vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, and driver's license)
