Formulation Technician I

Job Title: Formulation Technician I (Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm OT as needed).

 

Job Summary: The Formulation Technician I is responsible for producing various columns and consumables used in laboratory settings, particularly focusing on processes such as assembly, testing using ion chromatography equipment, packing, and documentation. They work under general supervision following specific procedures and practices.

 

Skill Requirements:

·         HPLC Column Packing experience.

·         Proficiency in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

·         Ability to understand and follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite for data entry and recordkeeping.

·         Experience with or the ability to learn chromatography software.

 

 

Preferred:

·         Prior 1+ experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.

·         Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.

·         Experience with PPI Continuous Improvement tools.

 

Skill and Education:

·         HPLC: High-performance liquid chromatography is an analytical technique used to separate, identify, and quantify components in a mixture.

o    Chromatography Software: This refers to computer programs designed to control chromatographs, collect data from them and analyze this data for research purposes.

o    Good Laboratory Practices (GLP): A set of principles intended to assure the quality and integrity of non-clinical laboratory studies such as safety tests.

o    Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): Regulations that require manufacturers to manage their operations according to quality standards to ensure products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards.

o    SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures): Familiar and able to follow.

o    Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
