Description
This Forms and Records Analyst 1 (FRA1) works out of the Southwest Region of the Office of Drinking Water. The position involves support with records management, including scanning saving and filing both electronic and paper documents.
They are responsible for providing and responding to public records disclosure requests, and clerical tasks under the Office Manager's supervision. This may include maintaining databases, tracking projects, and managing emails to the department. As well as providing administrative clerical support, by drafting and editing correspondence, resolving other inquiries, and managing administrative tasks like invoicing and physical mail processing.
The duty station for this full-time permanent FRA1 is in Tumwater, WA. A combination of in-office and telework is currently expected. It is anticipated that the incumbent would be expected at the Tumwater duty station for work activities one day weekly. While in person at the Tumwater office, they will be required to scan documents, assist visitors, handle phone inquiries, and support users with the office's online database and website.

Required Qualifications

Two (2) years of experience performing one or more of the following:
- Forms or records management that may include using a system to organize information.
- Records disclosure, public records requests or providing information to the public.
- Clerical duties such as preparing, proofing, and editing correspondence.
NOTE: Formal post-high school education that includes training in office or secretarial skills OR lived experience such as applying organization and time management to personal tasks will substitute year for year for this requirement.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in customer service, reception, or administrative assistance.
- Resolving problems or responding to inquiries.
- Receive and process incoming/outgoing mail.
- Use numerical/functional file system.
- Experience with state, local, or federal government clerical duties.
