Superior Weighted Products is a sister company to AES Drilling Fluids and is seeking a Forklift Operatorfor our state of the art facility in Corpus Christi.

The Forklift Operatoris responsible for maintaining the Company’s Warehouse supplies by stocking and restocking materials, loading rail cars and trucks, organizing products in an orderly manner while maintaining a clean and safe working environment for the facility. The Warehouse Worker will also be required to assist plant production personnel and management with other maintenance and production-related activities, when and as needed.

WORK LOCATION: Corpus Christi
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain bagging operation to ensure that bulk milled minerals are properly packaged, weighed, labeled, palletized, shrink wrapped, labeled, stored and loaded as needed. .
- Stacks 50 to 100 pound bags on pallets, as needed.
- Maintains packaging schedule dictated by management or other designated personnel.
- Ensures all bagged shipments comply with Company’s standards regarding the materials ordered, pallet size, quantity, and general appearance and all shipments are properly documented.
- Maintains all production records for shift.
- Ensures the warehouse is maintained in a clear and orderly manner.
- Loads bulk trucks, when and as needed.
- Promptly notifies appropriate management—in advance—when pallets, empty bags, or shrink-materials need to be ordered.
- Properly packages all bagged products, verifying all weights for precise accuracy.
- Safely loads palletized product onto trucks and rail cars and accurately completes required paperwork.
- Completes an inventory list at the beginning of each shift.
- Checks the forklift at the beginning of each shift for fuel, water/oil levels, brakes, hydraulics, cooling system, etc., and records and reports deficiencies.
- Tags out unsafe equipment.
- Maintains required Quality Management System documentation.
- Assists the crusher/loader operator and mill operator, when and as required.
- Assists with maintenance and production-related activities, when and as needed, and performs all other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2 years of Warehouse experience (oilfield related) is a plus.
- Experience with inventory counts and rotations is a plus.
- Forklift operator certification or experience is required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background, physical fitness test and drug screen.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Will work in a warehouse and plant open air environment, with regular exposure to drilling fluids products, (including crude oils, gases, acids, and other oilfield chemicals), occasionally, in confined spaces, and to heat, humidity, inclement weather, and noise.
- Willingness to work additional hours during the week and/or weekend.
- Overtime and flexibility are required to meet deadlines.
