Responsibilities:
Operate forklift efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing/production environment
Enforce HACCP requirements, SOPs, and GMPs
Demonstrate excellent communication, people management, and interpersonal skills
Utilize basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members
Ensure a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility, potentially involving outside maintenance
Perform various physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stretching
Read, write, and communicate verbally in English
Detail-oriented approach to the forklift operation process, ensuring accurate documentation
Report all safety and quality problems to Supervisors
Lead by promoting safety and food safety programs, setting high expectations
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Familiarity with HACCP requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Strong commitment to safety programs, leading by example
Proficient in ensuring systems align with operation conditions
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a forklift operator in a production or manufacturing setting
Manufacturing experience is a plus
