2. Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves using proper handling techniques to prevent damage to products and equipment.
3. Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas according to established procedures, ensuring optimal use of space and easy access to inventory.
4. Perform routine pre-use inspections of the forklift, including checking for any damage, leaks, or malfunctions, and report any issues to the supervisor.
5. Maintain accurate inventory records by documenting material movements and transactions in the company's inventory management system or logs.
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established procedures for forklift operation.
7. Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks, coordinate workflow, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
8. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including picking orders, packing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
9. Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance forklift operation skills, safety awareness, and overall job performance.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Familiarity with forklift controls and equipment, including the ability to maneuver and operate the forklift in tight spaces and around obstacles.
Physical strength and stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
Attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow instructions and procedures.
Dependability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to meeting deadlines and goals.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification/license from a recognized training program or institution (or years of experience operating a forklift)
Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
