Forklift Operator

What You’ll Do

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Operations Manager, the Reach Truck Operator is responsible for operating warehouse equipment such as a forklift, reach/lift, and a pallet jack in order to complete job duties for each work order.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs picking and put away by using reach/order pickers
• Ensure a safe working environment
• Accurately record keeping for materials
• Minimize inventory loss by best supply chain practices
• Communicating processing needs with management
• Maintain punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
• Complete projects and assignments on time.
• Support a culture of collaboration and maintain a positive work environment.
• Operate reach truck as required
• Operate a forklift as required
• Demonstrates the ability to use the RF Scanner, Label Printer, and Forklift Equipment (Reach Truck, Order Picker, Sit Down Forklift, and Electric Pallet Jack)
• Ability to perform warehouse storage consolidation for all products.
• Ability to perform cycle counts, assisting with physical inventory, and identify discrepancies of inventory through research.
• Sustaining an accuracy of 100% for dock receipts, put away, refresh, loading and unloading of trailers.

Successful Candidates Must Demonstrate the Following Abilities:

• 2+ years of experience Forklift driver
• Forklift Certified
• Ability to produce accurate reports
• Able to use a computer and other office technology
• Knowledgeable of inventory software
• Proven experience as reach / lift driver or other warehouse position
• Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks and other warehouse equipment
• Experience in voice picking systems or RF devices
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds
• Able to stand and bend for long periods of time in a warehouse environment

· Ability to maintain a positive attitude under a stressful environment.

· Diligent and punctual.

· Occasional shift flexibility and occasional over time.

· Ability to execute tasks in other departments as needed based on workload and manpower needs.

• Strong work ethic and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Working well on diverse teams and highly collaborative.

· Ability to work and communicate with peers and management.

· Ability to follow instructions and follow through with those instructions.

Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
