Summary:
Performs on-site or in-house servicing, repair and/or installation of company product(s). This job may include any aspect of field support and installation, and is not limited to electrical, data, and fiber optic cable installation; conduit and pull box installation; and pole and foundation installation. Determines most effective means to install equipment to maximize efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Installs equipment including but not limited to cameras, detectors, controllers.
- Installs electrical conductor, data conductor, and fiber optic.
- Installs pull boxes, conduit, poles and connects conductors to equipment to make equipment work.
- Connects electrical conductors to power services to energize.
- Tests devices to ensure they work.
- Prepares logs to keep track of field conditions and installation.
- Driving is a requirement for this position.
Education:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but can be substituted with appropriate work experience.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Typically requires a minimum of 3-4 years of related experience.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license.
- Intermediate computer and networking knowledge.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
- Able to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team.
- Follows established procedures on routine work.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Practical experience with electronics/technology.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Class B CDL
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing CCTV and MVDS units and DMS
- Component level board repair
- Industry Specific
