- Operates machine in a safe and proper manner, maintaining high production flow while exercising quality driving.
- Moves pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials and transports load to designated area while maintaining integrity of items moved.
- Unloads paper from trailers, matches roll numbers and weight to manifest labels, labels roll & locates in warehouse.
- Proper finishing and labeling of finished goods pallets or Roll stock materials per our customers specifications.
- Proper relocation of all materials/finished goods when moved, using scan guns or computer terminals.
- Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels or production schedules.
- Completes loading sheets and locator sheets for Shipping and Roll stock requisition forms for manufacturing.
- Performs daily maintenance on machine including: Lubricating trucks recharges batteries and replaces liquefied gas tanks.
- Uses air hose to clean forklift.
- Changes battery properly when indicator light comes on. Watches equipment & reports any malfunctions to supervisor.
- Adheres to all plant Safety, AIB and GMP regulations.
- Carry out tasks as assigned by Management.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Associates degree from an accredited College or trade school preferred
- Two to three years’ experience working within the printing industry
