Form of workDepartment of State Hospitals - Napa is looking for a Staff Services Manager I to fill the role of the Forensic Services Assistant Manager. The position is located at Napa State Hospital and receives direction from the Forensic Services Manager (Staff Services Manager II). The incumbent will provide oversight and direction to staff working in various programs related to patient treatment and commitments including, but not limited to Electroconvulsive Therapy, involuntary medications, Probate 3200, admission documents, court orders, conservatorship, and legal processes. Must be able to read and interpret the California Penal Code; Welfare and Institution Code, Case Law and Court Orders. The Staff Service Manager I will also need to be able to exercise good judgment, have good attendance and punctuality, and be able to multitask in order to complete program objectives.
