Summary of Position:
The Production Foreman will supervise the daily operation and maintenance of assigned oil & gas processing equipment, including the identification of problems or potential problems; documentation and reporting; and the repair, or assistance in the repair of equipment. This position is responsible for all staff scheduling and performance and safety needs, service relationships, invoicing, and budgeting of all related daily needs. This position will work closely with the compressor and drilling groups as well as any other operation needs in the area. This position is also counted on being a technical lead for the group.

- First-line supervisory responsibility for directing non-exempt field staff in maintenance and production activities of Company wells.
- May oversee activities of contract crews or coordinate activities on joint ownership wells.
- Perform major mechanical maintenance and overhauls of equipment and the safety of all area employees and contractors.
- Prepare documentation as needed.
- Follow safe operating practices and ensure compliance with CIVI Environment, Safety & Regulatory requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Organizes and oversees the schedules, work, and productivity of the team.
- Manages their departments efficiently and in accordance with departmental goals.
- In accordance with policy and with the support of the department head, makes hiring and selection decisions for staffing.
- Provides performance feedback and completes evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- With the assistance of HR and the department head, handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Education & Experience:
- High School Degree or GED required. Relevant certifications and/or technical degrees a plus.
- 5+ years of hands-on oil and gas operations and associated experience, specifically in Production Operations or a related field required
- Strong technical knowledge of oil and gas production processes, equipment, and machinery is essential.
- Familiarity with different types of wells, artificial lift systems, and production optimization techniques is valuable.
- Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Must be willing to travel to and work in any area as needed.
- Must be willing to work late hours and days off as needed.
Travel Requirements:
- Work is performed at a CIVI location Tues-Thurs with an option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
- Schedule: traditional 40-hour workweek or alternative schedule of 9 hour works days M-Thurs and 4-hour workdays Friday.
- Travel required to the Civitas field locations.
