Foreman (Pipe Fitting)

We are in need of a hands on Pipe Fitting Foreman to add to our team at Master Boat Builders. The Pipe Fitting Foreman plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating Pipe Fitting activities on various projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in Pipe Fitting techniques, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in Pipe Fitting to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and lead a team of pipe fitters: Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to the Pipe Fitting team to ensure the successful completion of projects.
2. Project planning and coordination: Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to plan and coordinate Pipe Fitting activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
3. Quality assurance: Oversee the quality of Pipe Fitting work, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
4. Safety compliance: Enforce and promote a culture of safety on the job site, ensuring that all Pipe Fitting activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
5. Material and resource management: Manage the procurement and allocation of materials and resources required for Pipe Fitting projects.
6. Problem-solving: Address and resolve any challenges or issues that may arise during the Pipe Fitting process, ensuring that projects stay on schedule and within budget.

        7. Hands On: This role is very hands on and will require daily presence and work in the yard to ensure the completion of assigned tasks.

5. Certifications: Relevant certifications in Pipe Fitting or related fields are a plus.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of five years of experience in Pipe Fitting, 10 years’ preferred with a demonstrated track record of success in leading a team.

High School Diploma or equivalent

   • Endurance to perform physical tasks throughout the workday, which will include standing, kneeling, crouching, and working in confined spaces.

   • Tolerance for working in various weather conditions, as pipe fitters may work outdoors and in different climates.
   • Adaptability to working in environments with high temperatures, humidity, or other challenging conditions.
6. Communication:
