The Forecasting & Planning Support Analyst will bring an analytical approach and provide data driven decisions and solutions to labor needs with the collaboration and guidance of the Forecasting and Planning Manager. With a primary focus on labor, this role will work closely with Operations to ensure an accurate understanding of new and existing business needs, and how it impacts labor requirements in our environment.

The ideal candidate must have effective communication and interaction across all levels of the organization including clients to input accurate forecasting information into our system and utilizing the appropriate tools and methods to estimate labor requirements to our Operations and Talent Acquisition Teams across all regions of NRI. They must be comfortable to work independently but also embrace collaboration and working within a dynamic, positive, and energetic Team.
The following schedule is available for this role:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Starting Pay:
$67,500 - $84,250 annually

What You'll Bring to the Role:
- Excellent technical capabilities with proficiency in warehouse management system (WMS) and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties, follow through assignments with a minimum of direction, and be extremely detail oriented
- Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
- Trustworthy and moral character (we use pre-employment background & drug tests)
The Must Haves:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Distribution or Supply Chain
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook. Highly proficient with Excel and basic SQL knowledge is a plus
- Previous or current background in apparel and/or footwear in a pick and pack environment is an asset
- Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, sitting for long periods of time, occasionally walking, and standing, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc. when stepping into the warehouse
Things You Will be Doing
Forecasting
- Updating approximately 200+ client sales forecast and inbound volumes in our system.
- Maintain client communication and various files for record keeping purposes.
- Ensuring wholesale and Ecommerce breakdowns are updated monthly in the WMS system as provided by our clients.
- Ability to analyze and interpret forecast changes and actuals to propose and implement solutions to improve forecast accuracy and present to Senior Leadership through Daily/weekly/monthly reporting tools provided by the Forecasting and Planning Manager.
- In the absence of forecasts from Clients, utilize historical information as a temporary determining factor of hiring and staffing decisions.
- Providing monthly visibility to leadership and client services teams as needed.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve forecast accuracy.
Labor Planning
- Modelling labor requirements with existing tools, for new and existing Clients, and ensuring that the appropriate monthly staffing needs are communicated to Operations and the Talent Acquisition Teams.
- Supporting the Operations Team with data analysis, to ensure that labor is shared amongst our various Canada and US facilities.
- Ensuring compliance with current Client service level agreements.
- Maintaining daily and weekly labor planning tools utilized by the leadership team.
- Providing general support when requests are made to ensure the success of our operational labor needs.
