We are looking to hire an experience automotive technician to join our team. While an ideal candidate has electricity pulsing throught their veins, can diagnose a car noise from a mile away, and only needs to take one sniff to find leaks, we know we won't find them, so we're looking for someone with strong electrical and diagnostics skills, an ability to change out just about any part of a vehicle, and a desire to work hard and earn more. We currently have over 60 hours of rollover work on our lot (not including undiagnosed vehicles) with more appointments being made regularly, so we have the work for you. Plus, we have service advisors ready to sell your recommendations to keep our customers safe and you busy.

What do we have to offer you? Well, we have competitive, uncapped flat rate pay with a 40 hr/wk guarantee for the first month while you get in the groove of things. Our pay rate is negotiable based on your experience - the worst you can do is ask. Our shop is heated in the winter and well ventilated in the summer. Our front of house staff is willing to stack up and sell you recommendations, we just need you in place to do the work. We also offer the nitty gritty, like partially funded healthcare options, paid training, 40 hrs PTO a year, a paid week off between Christmas and New Year's, discounts on parts, a 5 day work week (no weekends!), and more that we're probably forgetting! We're a family owned shop, so you don't have to navigate corporate or dealership level politics. We also have bonuses and commissions that can be made in our towing field if that were to interest you (but first priority would be mechanic). While we do work only 8-5 Monday - Friday, we understand that you probably do as well, so we are also flexible and can meet for interviews outside of shop hours.

So, what do we need from you? We need someone honest and ready to help our customers drive their cars safely, and we need the work done right the first time. You'll be expected to provide your own tools (though we provide many major diagnostic/repair tools, such as A/C machines with 1234YF, scanners with J2534 pass thru devices, specialty timing tools, and more). You will need a valid driver's license, at least 2 years of professional automotive repair experience, and a understanding of technology such as computers and tablets. You must have experience in electrical diagnostics as well as hard part replacements/diagnostics. We will be expecting you to do a wide array of work, from basic brakes & suspension to full engine and transmission replacements, so a flexibility and ability to work on a variety of different components is a must. ASEs are NOT required, but having them (current or expired) could help us in our decisions.
