Duties:
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer orders and payments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, assembling sandwiches, and portioning ingredients
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking their orders, and addressing any questions or concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to health regulations
Skills:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating order totals
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
- Familiarity with food service operations, including food preparation and kitchen safety
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
