Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Service Director to join our team. As the Food Service Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of our Food Service operations. From menu planning to ensuring adherence to safety standards, you will lead by example to deliver excellence in every aspect of our dining services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement innovative menu concepts that cater to diverse tastes and dietary preferences while ensuring high-quality standards.
• Manage food procurement, inventory, and budgeting to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring proper training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold ServSafe standards throughout all Food Service operations.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events, catering services, and promotions.
• Monitor customer feedback and implement necessary adjustments to enhance overall satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Food Service Director in a Skilled Nursing Home
• Strong culinary background with proficiency in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation.
• Certification in ServSafe or equivalent food safety training.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
