Food Runner

Welcome to Citron Bistro Hobe Sound. After an extensive renovation, we will open in the former Taste restaurant space in mid March. We operate 4 other restaurants in New York and Florida and value the Food Runner position and are hoping to find people with experience.

Our other restaurants are very busy and require strong communication on the line, an understanding of cooking techniques and timelines and someone who is willing to do what it takes to ensure our customers leave happy (take an order for a glass of wine, bus a table, get the chef an item from the walk in refrigerator). We're looking for a positive, team player that enjoys customer service.

Duties:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables
- Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of food items
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food service areas
- Assist with restocking supplies as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems for order entry and processing
- Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food and stand for extended periods of time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
