Expo/Food Runner

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Restaurant Expo/Food Runner. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of food and communication between the kitchen and the dining room.
Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining room.
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to the restaurant's standards and presented in an appealing manner.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the expo station.
• Assist with plating and garnishing dishes as needed.
• Manage food inventory and ensure proper rotation of products.
• Resolve any issues or concerns that arise during service.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of the menu and be able to answer any questions from servers or guests.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as an Expo or Food Runner in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 30 per week
