Seeking an experienced Food RegulatoryCompliance Specialist who values continuous improvement to lead all food labeling, Regulatory and product registration activities for "America’s Oldest Corned Beef Specialist".
This role is a hybrid position, candidates must be able to be onsite 3 days/week.

About the Role
The Food Regulatory Specialist is responsible for all aspects of USDA regulatory labeling, working closely with a team of food scientists. Provide guidance and technical leadership on food labeling issues.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for submitting labels to the USDA and keeping USDA approvals on file
- Source of data for all aspects of product labels; nutritional labeling, product and animal raising claims
- Maintain up to date knowledge of current food labeling regulations, regulatory activities and trends
- Work cross functionally to implement label changes as dictated by USDA or relevant FDA guidance
- Review and revise product labels to comply with USDA/FDA regulations
- Manage USDA document exchange process to obtain official label approvals
- Lead product lifecycle management term
- Representing Regulatory Affairs in project team to develop product registration strategies
- Knowledge of physical properties and chemical composition of food and ingredients
- Knowledge of extensive areas of food science and technology and experimental procedures
- Knowledgeable in Federal, State, and Local regulations
About You
- Prior experience in USDA food labeling
- Proficient in food processing, preparation, quality assurance and control with extensive and proven record in maintaining the highest standards of documentation, labeling and applications of regulatory requirements and policies in the USA
- Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking, communication, are required
- Hands on experience with label generation software, Genesis is a plus
