Job Description
We are currently hiring a lead on all three (st, 2nd, and 3rd) shifts:
Overview:
- Manage daily operations and quality of food ingredients and products
- Supervise staff and ensure adherence to safety practices.
- Responsible for training and coaching team members.
- Collaborate with departments for efficient production start-up.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the production area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily area checks for compliance and safety.
- Instruct and guide team members in Food Production techniques.
- Manage documentation and communication of any operational changes.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with management for various operational tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; with 1+ years in a manufacturing and supervisory role.
- Experience in a temperature-controlled environment, preferably with perishables.
- Demonstrated leadership and training abilities.
- Basic computer skills and effective communication skills.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced setting, food industry preferred.
Technical Experience:
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting.
- Certification in pallet jack, LTO, or forklift operation is preferred.
