Production Lead

SAVR Foods is a food manufacturer specializing in Asian style noodles, fortune cookies and more. We are looking for a hard-working team member to join our team as a line leader for manufacturing operations. This position is essential to ensure smooth and efficient operations on a daily basis. We welcome feedback and are constantly looking at ways to improve operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Understanding manufacturing parameters for each of our products and ensuring consistent quality for all products produced
• Collaborating with the Quality Assurance team to conduct product testing and resolve product non-conformities
• Monitoring the line operations and resolving equipment issues in a timely manner
• Monitoring and directing personnel breaks, meal periods, and position rotations as needed
• Directing production activities to meet daily goals
• Documenting production output, line outages, and sanitation activities
• Coaching and training of team members
• Providing feedback to Production Manager and other management as to opportunities for improvement
• Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Standards and enforce adherence from other team members
• Identifying opportunities for safety improvements and ensuring team members adhere to established safety guidelines
• Working on the production line as required
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and write fluently in English
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• 2-3 years experience in food manufacturing
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout the shift
• Forklift certification or ability to become forklift certified

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 50 per week
