Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking Food Operations Manager 1to join our team at UTSW in Dallas TX. The Food Operations Manager 1 will oversee 5 small Coffee Shops/Cafes across UTSW campus.
The Food Operations Manager 1will be a dynamic team player with a background in inventory management and purchasing while driving employee engagement. Other duties will include but not limited to:
- Work closely with a supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operation
- Managing a team of 10 hourly employee
- Food Ordering for the cafes
- Inputting pre and post food production items
- Facilitating Customer Service Training
- Overseeing Food Safety and Audits
- Working with the Marketing team on monthly promotions and data tracking of those promotions
- New Hire Onboarding
This position offers a traditional Business & Industry, Predominately M-F schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.
TARGET SALARY IS 60K TO 65K

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.
Qualifications & Requirements:Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
