Food Counter Attendant
Food Counter attendants take customer orders, accept payment and serve customers at Food Counters. As a Food Counter Attendant, your duties can include:
- use a cash register to take customer orders, accept payment and give change
- have good knowledge of menu offerings and food allergens, if any noted
- assist guests with their choices, put order in ordering system, monitor timing of orders on the screens, ensure all items ordered are accounted for and packaged properly
- contact delivery driver and inform them of delivery location and provide delivery instructions
- expedite APP orders as above
- keep space clean at all times
- may prepare food such as shakes, and beverages, including coffee-type drinks
- stock refrigerators and cupboard
- clean and sanitize areas including, work surfaces, cupboards and storage areas, as well as dispose of kitchen garbage
- clear and clean tables, trays and chairs in cafe area
- refill condiments and other supplies in serving areas
- unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and storage areas
- assist General Manager and Manager on Duty as needed
Food Counter Attendants should be:
- energetic

- able to multi-task
- able to work quickly
- able to remember customer orders
- good with people
They should have:
- excellent customer service skills
- basic mathematics and arithmetic skills
Full Time or Part Time Days, Monday thru Friday
Open Interviews held weekly Monday-Thursday 9am to 11am or 3pm to 5pm
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
