General Description
Essential Job Functions
Greets guests in a warm and welcoming manner. Conducts the cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transactions. Works with team members during events to ensure excellent customer service standards are met. Accurately uses Point of Sale system while serving a high volume of guests at the bar. Assists with pre-event setup including stocking product and setting up cashier/prep stations. Thoroughly completes all station breakdown responsibilities. Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment. Assists in preparation of food items and drinks. Understands and follows all Health Department Food & Safety regulations. Maintains organization and cleanliness of all areas within the concession stand and bar area. Ability to lift, move, push and pull objects weighing 50lbs. Performs related work as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Effective organizational skills.
- Knowledge of and ability to follow Health Department Food & Safety regulations.
- Ability to maintain an organized and clean area within the concession stand.
- Knowledge of proper rules and techniques.
- Knowledge of and ability to accurately use POS system.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with associates, subordinates and the public.
- Ability to support Food & Beverage department as needed.
Minimum Requirements
PHYSICAL SKILLS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written and visual communication. Ability to lift, move, push and pull objects weighing 50lbs. Ability to bend, kneel, and squat. Able to work weekends and evenings.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma preferred. One (1) year of experience in customer service and cash handling or related field preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS:Must be 18 years of age or older. Safe Serve Certification preferred.
