Golf Course Beverage Cart Attendant

Job Description:

As a Golf Course Beverage Cart Attendant, you play a crucial role in enhancing the experience of golfers by providing beverage and snack services directly on the course. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while driving the Beverage Cart along designated routes on the Golf Course. Your primary duties and responsibilities include:

Beverage and Snack Service: Provide prompt and friendly service to golfers by offering a variety of beverages, snacks, and light refreshments. Take orders, prepare drinks, and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.

Product Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the beverage and snack offerings available on the cart.

Course Navigation: Navigate the Golf Course safely and efficiently, following designated routes and adhering to course regulations and safety guidelines. Be aware of golfers' locations and pace of play to ensure timely service.

Inventory Management: Keep the Beverage Cart fully stocked with a selection of beverages, snacks, and supplies. Monitor inventory levels throughout the shift and restock as needed to ensure availability for customers.

Cash Handling: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and accurately process payments using a point-of-sale (POS) system. Maintain proper cash handling procedures and reconcile sales at the end of each shift.

Customer Interaction: Interact with golfers in a professional and courteous manner, engaging in friendly conversation and providing assistance as needed. Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor to enhance the overall customer experience.

Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Beverage Cart, including regularly cleaning surfaces, restocking supplies, and disposing of trash. Ensure that the cart is presentable and well-maintained at all times.

Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as alcohol service laws and guidelines. Follow company policies and procedures regarding responsible beverage service.

Qualifications:

Previous experience is required.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.

Knowledge of golf etiquette and familiarity with Golf Course operations is a plus.

Must be able to obtain New Mexico certifications for alcohol service and food handling. Minimum Age 21.
