Cheeky Monkeys is an edutainment softplay area & kids birthday celebration destination from 10 months to 8 years old. It provides an unparalleled arena for daily social and educational interactions focused on children and teachers and children and parents.

PLAY

Kids spend hours in ourINTERACTIVE SOFTPLAY, MONKEY CLUBHOUSE, BLOCKS STATION, ORGANIZED ACTIVITIES and ARTS & CRAFTS STATION.We provide a safe and stimulating environment for physically active children aged 8 and under to play and explore. Each location features a giant 3,000 square foot play structure for children over the age of 4, a smaller play area for toddlers under the age of 4, a building blocks zone, and life-size playhouse. All areas have soft indoor play park equipment with extensive padding and no sharp edges.

LEARN

Throughout the day, Cheeky Monkeys visitors can participate in free daily fun activities such as puppet shows, story time, dance classes, baby yoga, fairytale ballet, drama, literacy, and language. Children can create endlessly in a dedicated Arts and Crafts Garden where art teachers guide the children in artistic creations.

CELEBRATE

At Cheeky Monkeys we are the celebration experts, with over 5,000 birthday parties hosted! We offer multiple private party rooms that feature different themes and packages, we provide everything a child may want for their Birthday Celebration. Every event is hosted by trained staff and can includes several hours of supervision fun cake and ice cream, prizes, Food And Beverage, and party favors.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY

To lead the daily Food & Beverage department of Cheeky Monkeys Highland Village including overall quality service and service staff performance.

They are also involved in the receiving and delivering of food orders and have the ultimate responsibility of ensuring that all payments are received from the customer for products that were provided to them.

MAIN DUTIES

• Maintain inventory, cleanliness, food rotation and menu consistency.
• Profit and Cost-effectively and Efficiency-sets budget and creates a program to reduce cost.
• Crew recruitment and conducts training and must keep their competence level high.
• Compliance of Government requirements and regulations-Ensures that all permits for the Food and Beverage Department are well updated and available. (e.g. F&B Staff Occupational Health Card)
• Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, and operation of Kitchen equipment.
• Safety and Security programs are in place in the Food and Beverage Area. (e.g. proper labels of chemicals used such as table sanitizers, hand soaps, steel cleaners, etc.)
• Responsible for proper implementation of disciplinary actions to F&B Staff.
• Appraisals and Promotions for F&B Staff - Plans and schedules the staffs performance evaluations objectively, identify staff for promotion.
• Overall F&B Department management.

ADHERENCE TO POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

• Behaves in line with the Code of Conduct Policy.
• Ensures attendance in accordance with the duty schedule.
• Acts in line with Health, Safety & Fire procedures.
• Adheres to the applicable company policies and procedures.
• Adheres to and follows Standard Operation Procedure as set by Company.

EDUCATIONAL & QUALIFICATION

• High School diploma required.
• Bachelors degree in hospitality or business preferred.
• At least 1 year in a leadership role is preferred.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in food preparation, service, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficient in computer systems for ordering, inventory management, and reporting.
• Positive interpersonal skills required.

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour + tips

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $13.50 - $16.25/hour.
