HealthCare Support is actively seeking an Float Medical Assistantto fill an opening with a company that providesthe highest quality healthcare and access to the latest in healthcare technology this position is in Lady Lake, Florida
Daily Responsibilities for Float Medical Assistant:

• Interview patients and document basic medical history
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Update and file medical records and insurance reports
• Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
• Check with patients and type up patients charts
• Assist during medical examinations
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Handle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
• M-F 8AM-5PM /Lady Lake, Florida
  

Required Qualifications for Float Medical Assistant:

• Proven working experience as a Medical Assistant
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
• Social perceptiveness and service oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software

· Degree in medical assistance
Preferred Qualifications for Float Medical Assistant:

• HS Diploma/GED required
• Certified/Registered MA Highly Preferred
• 2+ year(s) of experience as a Medical Assistant (Back Office)
• Open to floating (must have reliable transportation)
• EMR experience
• Responsible for charting all patient's information; vital signs, rooming patients, blood pressure, etc
• Phlebotomy/Injection Experience
• CPR BLS Certification Required
• Will work with the physician to effectively care to patients.
• Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented
• Strong computer skill (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Pay Details: $18/hour - $20/hour
