Purpose of Position
The Flight Instructor is responsible for providing comprehensive and effective flight, ground, and simulator instruction to aspiring pilots. The role involves fostering a safe and conducive learning environment, guiding students through theoretical and practical aspects of aviation, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintain a schedule of 40 scheduled hours
Making sure that airplanes are clean for each flight
Communicating issues with maintenance
Being prepared for each lesson
Verifying student documentation is complete
Follow, teach, and log lessons using the syllabus
Maintain student progress
Office cleanliness
Arriving 1 houre before the first flight of the day to ensure the plane is ready to go
Follow Company Standard operating procedures

Education and Experience:
Commercial ASEL, CFI
CFII and MEI preferred
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
