We are in need of a Flexo Press Operator to join our production team. We are a fabricator of films, foils, foams, fabrics, and adhesive tapes. We laminate, slit, print, and die-cut materials for various industries. There will be many opportunities for cross-training in other areas within the company.

We are in need of a Flexo Press Operator to join our production team. We are a fabricator of films, foils, foams, fabrics, and adhesive tapes. Job Details:
- Hours: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Saturday 5 am to 1:30 pm) as needed.
- 1st and 2nd shift positions available.
- Rate: Based On Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- This primary role is operating Flexo Press equipment and running jobs per job order instructions.
- The Flexo Press Operator reviews work instructions, pulls stock, sets up the press, and obtains QC approval.
- Upon approval - the operator runs the product while maintaining safety and quality standards at all times.
- Interface with Production Manager and team lead to manage and prioritize work assignments ensuring customer demand/production schedules are met.
- The operator is responsible for proper tooling installation and post-run storage.
- On the Job, employee training will be provided to ensure that safety, operating, and quality procedures are understood and met. Basic problem-solving skills are required.
- Reporting (in writing) of product yields, labor hours, web paths, or problems/concerns with quality, processes, equipment, and materials will be required.
Qualifications (minimum):
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to work with others collaboratively.
- Strong organizational skills and basic math skills preferred.
- Pay is dependent on Flexo Press experience and continual process improvement experience.
- Other - Converting experience desired but not necessary.
- Clean driving record and valid AZ driver's license preferred.
PhysicalDemands:
- Ability to use hands to feel and handle materials/tools and the ability to talk and hear.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm's length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Material handling equipment provided.
