Reports to: Corporate Controller
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Fleet Manager will be responsible for the overall finance and operation of the 600+ vehicle fleet. Responsible for the creation and management of fleet policies and procedures, staff, and reporting.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage fleet department back-office employees.
- Work with Area Managers to ensure compliance with all vehicle policies and procedures.
- Ensure standard vehicles in each market through re-allocation and/or purchase.
- Managing vehicle licensure and registration.
- Ensuring all fleet members have proper licensure and training.
- Monitoring Drivers to ensure adherence to proper driving practices.
- Provide KPI reports to management on budget, forecast, maintenance and fleet projects.
- Develop methods to decrease overall costs per vehicle and increase overall efficiencies.
- Work with management team on streamlining fleet workflow.
- Work with the acquisition team on integrating acquired vehicles into the fleet.
- Coordinate sale of owned/acquired vehicles.
- Manage fleet partner relationships.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 5-10 years managerial experience in fleet or operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, Teams.
- Previous experience in working with multiple systems, reporting, KPIs.

Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 lbs. at a time.
