Job Summary
We are seeking a Fitness Instructor
to join our successful gym. As a Fitness Instructor, you will plan and lead fitness classes, ensuring that people of all fitness levels are able to participate. Your goal is to help students learn new skills overcoming obstacles and have fun while doing it! The ideal candidate is a positive, engaging teacher with a passion for fitness.
Responsibilities
- Lead a wide variety of classes to fitness studio members and guests
- Develop classes that are physically challenging, while keeping students engaged and safe
- Promote programs, classes, and membership through social media and networking
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- High school diploma/GED required
- Current personal trainer or Fitness Instructor. or enjoyment of Ninja, Parkour or Acrobatics
- Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred
- Positive, motivating, and reliable
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Able to lift 50+ pounds (have to lift and possibly catch children and move obstacles)
- Ability to think on your feet, be a fun and positive role model to kids
- Observational skills
