The Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission is seeking to fill a permanent Fish Culture Station Foreman position at the Reynoldsdale State Fish Hatchery in Bedford County. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
A Fish Culture Station Foreman supervises fish culturists in the propagation of fish for stocking the waters of Pennsylvania to benefit anglers and species conservation. Most duties are outside, and involve jobs working with fish that include spawning, incubation, feeding, sorting fish, and stocking. This position will have a variety of duties including helping to prioritize the hatchery’s work needs, directing and participating in maintenance and cleaning, collaborating on personnel management, and providing written inventory and activity reports. This also includes public relations activities such as directing or conducting tours and answering official or public inquiries. Bring your skills and ambition to our team!

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
- One year of experience as a Fish Culturist 2; or
- Two years of technical experience in the propagation and care of food or game fish; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- You must possess an active Class B Commercial Driver’s License.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
