Spherion Gainesville FL has a client in need of a Fiscal Assistant III to assist with their fiscal management, accounting, payroll, time and labor and other business services functions. Temp to hire - For at least 3 months
Gainesville, FL
Schedule: M-F, 8AM - 5PM, May be required to adjust hours during special programmatic activities
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $24.00

Responsibilities:
-Monitor fiscal and accounting functions for the budgeted accounts.
-Accounts payables, accounts receivables, complete deposits, debt collection, maintain account ledgers, journal entries, sales tax and other subsidiary functions.
-Document all financial transactions.
-Process all monies and invoices.
-Conduct and monitor all procurement actions like travel, purchase orders, etc???
-Coordinate, track and report all expenses and revenue transactions.
-Assist human resources with time and labor entries for staff
-Assist with special projects when needed.
-Work will comply with federal, state and department regulations.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized and able to problem solve.
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of general accounts transaction experience.
-Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent.
-Proficient in Excel, budget spreadsheets and database management.
-Able to blend office management, financial, budget and accounting.
-Able to communicate a variety of complex information to both internal and external stake holders.
