The primary responsibility of the First Aid Coordinator is to provide oversight of First Aid services provided by Snowbasin Resort. To ensure high quality First Aid care and professional customer service is provided to resort guests and employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
- Promote safety and ensure exceptional customer service is provided to resort guests
- Staffing and scheduling of emergency responders for daily operations and special events at Snowbasin Resort
- Coordinate trainings for Emergency Responders and OEC Candidates
- Serve as Incident Commander for search and rescue operations as needed
- Ensure proper documentation of incident responses
- Maintain inventory of supplies needed for emergency First Aid
- Provide emergency care and transport for guests and employees
- Collaborate with local EMS services to provide necessary resources
- Perform lift/gondola evacuation as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong administrative and communication skills
- Current OEC, EMT, or higher certification
- Current CPR, AED certification
- OEC instructor certification
- Incident Command training
- Familiarity with trail system and summer route finding
- Ability to lead a rescue team in mountainous terrain

RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:
- Ensure the highest standard of safety is maintained throughout the resort
- Maintain personal fitness to provide for rescuer safety
- Demonstrate hazard awareness and the ability to relate it to risk reduction
- Maintain signage, fences, barriers, and other risk reduction strategies
- Adhere to all Ski Patrol policies and procedures regarding rescuer safety
