Essential Job Functions

The FW Technology Asset Coordinator will develop and implement the asset management framework throughout the organization and across all technology teams. The candidate will work with the Asset Leads on creating asset management policies, procedures, and guidelines. They are responsible for asset requests, creating purchase orders, and ongoing management of physical inventory. This includes receiving inventory, asset assignments, and handling end-of-life processes for technology equipment. The candidate will perform cost/benefit analysis and risk analysis related to asset management. They will be the first line of contact for asset questions, and data corrections and assist with maintaining the Asset product catalog. The candidate will maintain the asset inventory through the firm’s asset management application. The candidate must understand and enforce asset policies and data integrity. The candidate must have strong analytical skills, organization, and the ability to operate in extremely high-pressure situations, successfully handle multiple priorities, and possess a high level of discipline while remaining flexible.

In addition to demonstrating considerable experience in the areas of responsibility listed above, the successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in providing prompt, professional, and courteous services on all customer requests, problems, and queries. The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, must show strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and will have the ability to be process-oriented yet flexible. The candidate must be able to interact with individuals at all levels of the Firm’s business.

This position requires the individual to be in the office 100% of the time. Occasional travel is required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to develop and lead the implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective asset management strategies, processes, and systems.  
  • Excellent communication skills, able to develop tactical plans with frequent oversight by supervisor level or higher.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, brings conflicts & disagreements into the open, and attempts to resolve them collaboratively. 
  • Recognized as a positive & motivational leader for the team. 
  • Has good decision-making skills, based upon a mixture of seeking input from others, analyzing input & using sound judgment.
  • Ability to work to the best resolution either through own knowledge or proper, timely escalation.
  • Proficiency in OS and core application suite; including the Microsoft Suite and various Kirkland applications.
  • Demonstrates the willingness and ability to help other team members on difficult issues.
  • Documents new findings/solutions. 
  • Adheres to the use of a call ticketing system for each incident (e.g., request, issues, etc.).
  • Understands and follows ticket ownership guidelines and system usage.
  • Solid ability to research information through internal and external sources.
  • Adheres to written procedures, checklists, and all quality control associated with project rollouts. 
  • Participates in on-call and overtime on an as-needed basis.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills

  • Education. Computer Science or Technical qualification 
  • Minimum 5 of experience in a professional services environment, directly related experience required.
  • Team leads level experience or above is preferred. 
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Knowledge and experience in Asset Planning and Development preferred.
  • Knowledge of Asset Management 
  • Knowledge and the ability to support Microsoft operating system, including networking components, hardware, and peripheral devices.
