Fire Sprinkler Foreman / Fitter / Helper

Currently looking for full or part time / night / weekend technicians to cover several small and large projects as they pop up. Emergency service calls, adds and relocates etc. Larger projects would switch to full time or the option of putting in extra hours to supplement the full time employees.

We currently have several out-of-town projects throughout all of Louisiana to currently man.

Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain Fire Sprinkler systems in accordance with industry standards and local codes
- Perform routine inspections and tests on Fire Sprinkler systems to ensure proper functioning
- Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning components of Fire Sprinkler systems
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute installation projects
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine system requirements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble, install, and test Fire Sprinkler components
- Conduct pressure tests on pipes and fittings to identify leaks or weaknesses
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or similar role
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment related to Fire Sprinkler installation and maintenance
- Knowledge of fire codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths
- Experience with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and stick welding is a plus

Pay: $14.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
