Skills and Experience
Experience: 20+ years
Skill Level experience: 10+ years
1. Minimum of 20 years’ experience as a serving fire officer in a civil or military airport/ airfield fire service. Last 5 years in a significant fire service managerial position.
2. Knowledge of military fire training processes, strategies and tactics preferably gained from military
3. Capable of monitoring training delivery, training, output, and assess other instructors to ensure instructional standards are being maintained and delivered up to international standards.
4. Knowledge in the practical experience in project management and budgetary preparation.
5. Knowledge of airfield practical policies with management in regard to fire and rescue requirements, response time, fire vehicles, equipment, training and firefighting media in accordance with ICAO, CAP 168, NFPA, and EASA.
6. Capable of introducing quality management system to cover fire protection operational, training, and logistical requirements.
Task and Responsibility
1. Serve as primary focal point for all matter relating to RSAF fire protection and safety program at his assigned airbase and assume overseeing and directing the management and delivery of major high value programs to meet responsibility RSAF requirements.
2. Ensure RSAF requirements are achieved in accordance with RSAF Policies and procedures, NFPA, ICAO, TSO, fire service manuals and IFST curriculum.
3. Manage multi-national and multi-disciplined teams in variety of complex problems and situation across a wide spectrum of aviation fire protection activities, having adopted a systematic approach to problem
4. Develop, other wings maintain to and facilitate manage effective key relationship with RSAF fire squadrons. objectives. The fire training center and other wings to facilitate effective development and delivery of agreed objectives.
5. Responsible to the fire squadron commander/ RSAF HQ Fire protection Manager.
6. Responsible for all trainee/ cadet working in his area of discipline.
7. Provide the RSAF with reports, letters, presentation, and other administrative support as directed by his functional manager.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
