- Supervise all activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, schedule, and close out
- Have thorough knowledge of all major project issues and priorities; prepare and submit monthly job status reports
- Have thorough knowledge of the company's contracts and understanding of all parties involved
- Secure all required permits and verify insurance coverage for subs
- Schedule and facilitate all project meetings required to successfully coordinate work activity
- Supervise and manage project team members; set goals and evaluate performance for team members
- Train and develop direct reports utilizing on the job and internal and external training or development opportunities
- Provide general administrative and technical leadership for the project
- Maintain all project records and monitor correspondence
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner and engineering firms
- Participate in proposals and presentations as requested
- Act as the primary contact with the Fire Alarm vendor in delivery of project

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years construction experience required
- Undergraduate degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar qualifying experience
- Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish
- Skilled at negotiating and developing relationships with owners and subcontractors
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach and evaluate a team; minimum 4 years supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical and Fire Alarm commercial construction
- Knowledge of industry, state, and local code requirements
- Ability to read and interpret all contract drawings such as Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing,
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree in engineering or business a plus
- Working for an electrical contractor on large scale construction
- DBIA and LEED Accreditation
- Mass transit and rail, highway, water, aviation, or other infrastructure project experience
- Fire Alarm NICET or related certification is desired
