Experienced Fire Alarm Technician

Job description

Axcex Media LLC is seeking full-time low voltage installation technicians for our Tidewater Branch office. The qualified candidate should be willing and able to be at work on time each day. They should have basic hand tools, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. Experience installing, terminating, and testing structured cabling is a bonus.

We provide not only on-the-job training but also invest in our employees by sending them to manufacture training to help them develop their knowledge of the products we offer. Our business hours are Monday - Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST. We do have to work overtime but it is not a regular occurrence which allows our employees to enjoy life outside of the workplace. We all work as a team and each employee can see the direct results of their efforts on each project.

Position requirements are:

• Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, and have a professional demeanor
• Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.
• Must have proven skill level or the ability to learn to interpret blueprints and other project documents.
• Must be able to work at heights, off a ladder and use lifts.
• Must be able to travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.

• Must be able to work overtime as needed (kept to a minimum)
• Must have and maintain a valid Virginia driver's license.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
