They support the Bay Area and expanding up and down California and parts of the USA supporting high-tech companies, schools, refineries, government buildings, and multi-unit residential and commercial buildings to install, service, test, and troubleshoot issues.
Looking for a Leader to provide strategic direction and leadership to the Fire Alarm Systems Department. Someone that can set departmental goals, objectives, and performance targets; work with C-level to align with organizational objectives. Someone that is excited to bring their skills and energy to develop, implement policies, procedures, and standards for efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree EE, fire protection engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- 3 minimum, 5+ (preferred) years of "Managing " a service-type group of 10+ persons working on Fire Alarm Systems
- Strong experience with project planning, management and execution
- Strong group problem solving skills in hectic situations
- In-depth knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems, local, state, and national fire safety regulations, codes, compliance
- Familiar with relevant technologies, such as Fire Alarm control panels, detectors, annunciators, and communication protocols.
- Very good communication skills
- Must be looking for long-term growing plan, they are growing fast and across California and the USA
- Experience with scheduling/managing 10-30 personnel; and look forward to growing the department
- Identify training needs and provide technical training and professional development opportunities to departmental personnel; and foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing; creating a strong teamwork environment
- Understanding and helping manage a group P/L
- Any experience with NICET certifications or licensing in Fire Alarm system design or programming, CAD, or Fire Alarm system management software is a major plus!
- Clean background check, including passing TWIC certification
- Clean driving record (due to a company vehicles)
- On site every day, early start day preferred (flexible for family situations)

Salary range: 80k to 140k
