Finishing Associate/Sprayer

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Scuff sanding surface prior to paint/staining

· Perform finishing work (spray pre-catalyzed & post-catalyzed lacquer) within a spray booth

· Color match to product specifications

· Staining or painting of wood products based upon project demands

· Use air assisted spray guns to seal and topcoat products

· Read and comprehend instructions to follow established procedures

· Maintain a clean area and surfaces to work on

· Attach final hardware to products as needed

· Prepare and process items for shipping individually or by pallet and occasionally both

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Experience in spraying, preferably lacquer products

· Clean & maintain equipment

· Communication and interpersonal skills

· Self-motivated and problem-solving skills

· Must have knowledge of pumps and spray guns in use

· Strong safety awareness; quality and detail oriented; mechanically inclined

· Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently without direct supervision

· Adaptability to accept changes in job duties and eagerness to learn and apply new knowledge

· Must be able to read a tape measure

· Compliance with all OSHA regulations

· Keep records of production quantities and time

Physical Requirements:

· Working with painting equipment

· Ability to be on feet and continuously moving

· Lift up to 50 lbs.
