Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and professional Fine Dining Server to join our team. As a Fine Dining Server, you will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the overall success of our Fine Dining establishment.

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests and escort them to their tables

- Present menus and provide detailed information about the dishes

- Take accurate food and beverage orders

- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner

- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them throughout their meal

- Upsell additional items and promote specials

- Process payments and operate cash registers or POS systems

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a server in a Fine Dining restaurant preferred

- Strong knowledge of food safety practices

- Excellent math skills for handling payments and making change

- Proficiency in using POS systems or cash registers

- Exceptional guest service skills with the ability to anticipate needs and exceed expectations

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

- Knowledge of basic restaurant operations and procedures

Preferred experience:

- Japanese Omakase

- Fine Dining Beverage Experience

- Highly preferred Japanese sushi restaurant experience or knowledge

- Detail-oriented, coachable, ability to multitask
