As a Financial Systems Administrator at Savage, you will be a key contributor on the team responsible for accurate, stable, and secure Financial Systems that support a multi-billion-dollar, multi-national enterprise. Success in this role includes participating in improving the efficiency of our accounting and financial teams.
As a member of the IT team, you will collaborate with team members and leaders in accounting and financial teams to transform business requirements into technical solutions in our Financial Systems. These third-party and custom/in-house systems cover all enterprise financial operations: accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, financial planning, and budgeting. Using skills in financial system configuration, data modeling, data transformation, reporting, quality control, and data pipeline management, you will integrate and reconcile data between various Financial Systems. You will also participate in internal and external audits and ensure regulatory compliance.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with diverse teams to understand Financial Systems requirements, then design and configure or build effective solutions
- Create and maintain financial data integration jobs and associated data models
- Support production Financial Systems through monitoring, issue identification, and resolution
- Balance addressing day-to-day needs and issues with implementing high-level architecture decisions and vision to improve Financial Systems
- Follow team workflow processes and participate in process improvement
- Stay updated on relevant industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Understand and follow relevant regulations and procedures for Financial Systems and data
What You Need to Be Successful:
- Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to this role, such as Information Systems, Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in SQL DML and DDL on SQL Server
- ETL/ELT using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or another data pipeline tool
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced development cycles and changing priorities.
- Experience in any of the systems in our current financial stack is a plus: Oracle Fusion (financials, procurement, project, integration services), OneStream, Blackline, Medius, Coupa.
- Competence in a scripting language such as Python, R, VBA, or JavaScript.
