Title: Financial Services Operations Representative - State Plan Team
Location: Hybrid - Quincy, MA or Kansas City or Richmond, VA or DC area

As a branch to the transaction processing team, the State Plan Transaction Specialist (Financial Services Operations Representative) with Senior State Plan Specialist, Quality Analyst, Project Analyst, and management to ensure correct and prompt processing of each State's unique transactions. They are providing in-depth analysis of pending activity for other team members. Monitor activity in client's bank accounts through coordination with Finance Department personnel.

What You Will Get To Do:

• Prepare all State transaction processing using proper systems, mechanisms available, processing steps, transactions and applicable codes required to process correctly. May involve multiple day processing, systems, and/or coordination with other units. Research, analyze, and process beneficiary and QDRO payments.
• Monitor daily General Ledger interface process, including daily reconciliation of General Ledger to record keeping systems and validation of OmniPlus and Cash Settlement System (DCS) interface.
• Provide client with all essential communication (oral and written) required ensuring that processing is efficient and accurate.
• Assist in processing of other tasks including but not limited to fund balance and account reconciliation, participant statement review, and monitoring of all incoming transaction transmission.
• Daily review of record keeping, prepare Daily/Monthly/Quarterly reports for delivery to client and review of reconciliation reports in order to ensure accuracy of posting. Review daily Cash Management report for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and presentation.
• Assist with full regression testing for any upgrades to existing software or new software that directly affect State processing.
• Interface with other ICMA-RC units i.e. Finance, Investor Services, Local Offices, State Plan Fiscal Team(s), etc. to process and resolve issues in a timely manner.

The Impact You Will Make:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of accounting, Financial Services or similar environment and 1-year retirement plan record-keeping or directly related experience.
• Strong analytical/problem solving, ability to research and resolve complex issues usually requiring the coordination of multiple resources.
• Ability to plans and prioritize work to meet department commitments aligned with company goals and financial responsibilities.
• Able to work in the local office 4-6 days per month.
