Position Scope
You will be a key leader in the Financial Reporting process for a public company. Key responsibilities include SEC reporting, technical accounting, SOX, process implementation, and working closely with peers in other functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex accounting aspects in quarterly reporting for SEC filings and external parties, covering areas such as EPS, cash flow statements, and business combinations.
- Review schedules from various departments and interface with auditors, consultants, and internal teams to provide data for SEC disclosures.
- Prepare and submit SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, Proxy, S-8, Form SD) and perform XBRL tagging.
- Evaluate controls, including SOC 1 reports, and work on improvements to align with GAAP and SOX requirements.
- Research and prepare technical accounting memos, and assist with implementing new accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Public Accounting experience a must have - open to straight out of public
- 6+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- CPA would be awesome!
- Workiva/Equity Edge experience
- Experience with larger ERP's like Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics
- Can work with peers at all levels in the org
