SalaryLamplighters Investment Advisors serves a broad spectrum of clients (not just the “wealthy”) and is especially focused on Financial Planning to improve the lives of our clients. Pivoting to Zoom meetings during the pandemic enabled Lamplighters to reduce both our own and our clients’ carbon footprints. This 3-6 month and 100% remote and part-time internship will provide a unique “front row” experience of the client-advisor relationship and the Financial Planning process. While we are hopeful that you might be the right fit to continue on with us after the internship, you will learn valuable and transferable skills in Redtail (a widely used industry CRM), Right Capital (an awesome Financial Planning tool), and LPL Financial’s Client Works platform. Anticipated hours are 4pm-7:30pm Tuesday through Friday (EST). A background check with fingerprinting is required for this internship. Lamplighters is based in Charlottesville, Virginia.
