Summary of Position
The Financial Planning and Analysis Intern role will be project-based. The objective is to learn our systems and use that knowledge to enhance tools used for periodic forecasting and sales analytics. The Intern will work directly with the Manager, FP&A with opportunities to collaborate cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
- Work with members of finance team to gain an understanding of systems and tools used for forecasting and sales analytics.
- Establish relationships with outside departments to execute objectives.
- Enhance tools used for periodic forecasting and sales analytics while utilizing current systems.
- Assist in variance analysis of actual results vs. budget and monthly outlook.
- Other duties as assigned.
Enrolled in bachelor's degree program related to Finance, Accounting, or Business Analytics.
- Motivated self-starter able to effectively operate independently on project tasks, including remote work.
- Ability to quickly learn/utilize new systems.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage large amounts of data.
- Candidate must have strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Relationship with Others/Scope of Position
Finance Intern will interact with other finance team members and cross-functionally as needed to execute objectives.
