This role is structured as the first stage of an apprenticeship designed to make you the best financial advisor possible. You’ll be a key member of the team that works hard to deliver an outstanding client experience and advice that makes a huge impact on our clients’ lives. You’ll be at the controls of our tech stack to prepare and update complex financial plans for client meetings, design and discuss potential scenarios with the advisor teams, participate in client meetings and learn what it is to be an Aveo Wealth Advisor. Your Life as a Planning Associate:
- During your time as a Planning Associate, you’ll learn not only the techniques of Financial Planning, but also the unique ways Aveo does business.
- Preparation of Financial Plans, Investment Allocation models, Insurance proposals, and presentations for client meetings
- You’ll be a master in Salesforce (our CRM), MoneyGuidePro (our Financial Planning software), DocuSign, Office 365, and many more. (Comfort with change and new technology is key!)
- An aptitude for a fast-paced, high energy role, and possess an ability to multitask and complete projects both working in a team setting, and autonomously.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a desire to work in a dynamic environment.
- This may sound obvious, but an unparalleled interest in Financial Planning is really important.
- If you’re already a CFP®, or are already studying for the exam, that is fantastic! If not, you will be getting that ball rolling quickly in your off-time after coming on board.
- Experience in the Financial Planning wealth advisory business is always an added bonus.
- Good written and verbal communication is key in this role – you’ll be taking notes, talking to advisors, speaking with clients, and more.
