Financial Planning and Analysis Intern

Overview of Team and Role:

  • FP&A, Financial Planning and Analysis. The core of that is budgeting and forecasting items like Revenue, Costs, Bookings, Churn and Key Performance Indicators like cross connects, cabinets and other drivers of the business.
  • Work on reporting to add insights as to the health and state of the business by measuring variances against forecast and against trend.
  • The ideal candidates will be good at Math, knowledge of Finance, analytical skills to help find cause and effect, using Microsoft Excel is a daily tool for this team, Power Point is helpful

What you will be doing (Project/Responsibilities/Tasks):

  • Working on business projects and solutions that will add true value and have a big impact on our business   
  • Opportunity to network and collaborate with other interns across the globe 
  • Take part of our summer program with executive speaker series, networking events, shark tank project presentations and much more! 

Summer Project:

Numerous projects or fundamental pieces of FP&A.

  • Analyzing bookings and churn data for accuracy in reporting of this key driver for our business.
  • Reviewing consumption and cost per unit data for our power usage by IBX or data center to identify trends.

Who You Are (Requirements and Qualifications):

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a requirement for this role.
  • English is the spoken language for this management chain.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your bachelor’s or master’s degree studies (Graduation between December 2024-September 2025) 
  • Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (between May to September, depending on your school system)   
  • Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English 
  • Ability to create accurate and punctual reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others
